About Mr. Tux

Callander's Mr. Tux was founded in 1967 when Lawrence Callander decided to start renting tuxedos out of his small dry cleaning store in downtown Newark, Ohio. He initially purchased around 75 tuxedos and started in the rental business.

The business was incorporated in 1977 as Callander's Formal House, Inc. and began doing business as Callander's Mr. Tux.

Today, Callander's Mr. Tux carries over 5,000 tuxedos in stock. Kids Kountry offers the full line of Mr. Tux with a fitting station at the store we can size, fit, and order all your tuxedo needs!
